Denver, Colorado’s progressive hip-hop act Flobots bring it on real with their signature anthems dedicated to
creating a better world. Since forming in 2005, Flobots have released three full-length albums, toured
throughout the US and Europe, and appeared on late night programs including The Tonight Show and Late
Night. Flobots are internationally known for their 2008 platinum single “Handlebars” and widely recognized
for using their music as an inspiration for social change.
“The combination of a having a rock-band/orchestral-like group build and poetic lyricism is just as
intriguing to the ears as it looks on paper. Flobots have blended genres under the guise of hip- hop to the point of creating their own and it has brought forward the ears of people who otherwise
have written-off hip-hop altogether.” – The Early Registration
“...the Denver band's four [DNC] convention-related shows signaled the band's rise from local heroes,
blending hip hop, a viola, drums, guitar and bass, to international touring artists.” – USA Today
“Flobots have always had a revolutionary slant. Their biggest impact on the music world (and probably
the reason you know their name) was the song ‘Handlebars,’ a catchy, fast-clipped rap about the
potential of the individual that peaked at No. 37 on Billboard's Hot 100 chart. The single thrust
them into the national spotlight.” – Denver Post
“’Handlebars’ has been called Eminem meets Cake, but in reality, the Flobots' sound is one of those
genre-defiers, a Gorillaz, a Gnarls Barkley, an OutKast or Rage Against the Machine. And as the
Flobots continued to hone that sound, so, too, did they hone their vision of activism.” – Westword
Established in 2009, Zolopht has become a premier act in the Colorado music scene. Loosely described as psychedelic reggae-rock, Zolopht has an entirely unique sound that is as catchy as it is progressive. Lovingly crafted music and rigorous touring has provided the band diehard fans around the country and beyond. Zolopht has shared the stage with artists such as: The Wailers, Robert Randolph and the Family Band, Dirty Heads, Jeff Coffin, Sam Bush, and Eric Krasno. With two full-length studio efforts (pH-Balanced/Flexor*) under their belt and a third on the way, Zolopht has gained an unstoppable momentum
